Who the f**k am I, and how can I help you?

I am Erno Polus, a coach and father born in the late 70s in Finland. I have over 20 years of coaching experience and have seen a lot in life. I know from experience what it feels like to live with chronic sleep deprivation, in the middle of the "rush years", and just generally in middle age.
The years (and decades) have changed me quite a bit as both a coach and as a person, so your world is not completely foreign to me.
You won't find a fitness fanatic in his twenties here spouting truths about how to live your life as an adult! I know quite well what it's like when shit hits the fan and life surprises you out of nowhere. At that point, you're not measuring your protein intake gram by gram, it's more about survival. But if life is only a struggle for survival, the prognosis is not very good. We need to be in charge of our own lives and be able to influence it with our own actions.
Currently, I’m mostly coaching adult men to get in better shape. I'm also involved in coaching in motorsports. You can spot me in the paddock of the Rallycross World Championships as we are chasing the biggest trophy with a Finnish driver I am coaching. And on top of this provide various wellness services to client companies in my home country Finland.
I'm not very good at praising myself, but I claim to be a good coach when it comes to improving physical fitness. I'm a fair guy, I speak my mind and use a lot of humor and I may curse sometimes. (quite often actually)
I try to avoid dry, pointless and dull wellness jargon. If you hear me somewhere talking about "holistic well-being," please slap me hard across the face and tell me to snap out of it and get my shit together. Holistic well-being sounds great in the academic world but doesn't mean anything concrete to us as individuals.
So if you're looking for a twenty-something rookie personal trainer with only little life experience and ultra-puritanical fitness fanaticism, you can keep searching elsewhere. Here you'll find a mature, reasonable, science-based, and experienced professional who understands that there's more to an adult man's life than protein supplements and bench press on mondays.
